Stone Island designer clothing brand history:
Stone Island (coupled with CP Company) was first conceived in the late 70's, but didn’t launch as a ‘solo’ brand until 1983. The brand’s goal was to produce hard wearing clothing, but in order to stay ahead of new emerging Italian designers, they invested heavily in material research and techno fibres.
