Size Guide
At Brown Bag Clothing we take the time to hand measure every single garment on the site to allow you to get the right fit and to wear it as it was intended by the designer.
If you already know your measurements in inches, the size in inches shown on the site will fit you.
If you don’t know, simply measure yourself in inches as shown in the guide below and use these measurements to find the garments in your size.
We recommend you use your actual measurements in inches, rather than following the general Small / Medium / Large / XL / XXL classification which can vary greatly between brands.
Please note that our measurements are not the physical garment size, they are the size you need to be for the garment to fit properly.
Where a garment is meant to be close-fitting or skin-tight, we’ll put this in the product description. You should still purchase the size for your measurements though, as you will want to wear the garment in the way it has been designed to be worn.
Using the guide below you can shop with complete confidence knowing that the garment size you order will be right for you first time, every time.
How to measure your body
1 Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest and shoulder blades by dropping your arms loosely to the sides. Place tape close under arms and make sure tape is flat across the back.
2 Waist
Measure around your natural waistline at the belly button.
3 Inside leg
Measure from the top of your inside leg at the crotch to the ground without shoes.
